Meaningful Moment

"Meaningful Moment is on a mission to promote a daily moment of silent reflection in schools and to inspire parents and children to illuminate these moments with meaning.

By offering a comprehensive array of resources and programs for parents, educators, and children, we hope to create a framework that encourages parents to have meaningful conversation with their children and for children to begin their day in school reflecting silently .

Ultimately, we dream of building a community of educators, parents, and children empowered to explore what it means to live meaningfully — one moment at a time."

You might send your kid to school with lunch and snacks, or you might not. But what about food for thought?

The Meaningful Moment program allows you to share your deepest values and beliefs with your child and have them reflect on them while in school. It gives you the space to explore life’s “big questions” with your child in a way that only you can.

What big ideas will you send along with your child to unpack, think about, and reflect on in school?

Gili Schwartzer,
High School Student in Boca Raton

"As a student at West Boca High School, I am lucky enough to have a minute of silence each morning to reflect and to think. This time is so important to me because I get to thank God for the amazing life I was given and being able to live another day. This minute of silence is also super important to me to remember the lives lost of kids my age and even younger who had lost their lives by simply going to school. I am so incredibly greatful for what I have and a minute of silence in the morning reminds me of that."

Mrs. Kim Ball,
7th Grade Teacher In Camarillo

“I noticed changes in some of my most challenging students - more focus, less disruptive behavior and higher test scores. One of my students with mental health issues told me that she was feeling less depressed and more confident. I highly recommend A Quiet Moment for any classroom.”

Ryan Ponder,
president of the Matsu valley school board, Matsu Alaska

"….Parents have told me that their children love the meaningful moment and come to school looking forward to it every single day…"
